Zander is an award winning speaker who has conducted educational workshops at corporations, universities, medical centers, public and private secondary schools, academic conferences, government agencies and non-profit organizations in the United States since 1987.
Always an avid learner, Zander possess a Bachelor of Arts in Speech from Metropolitan State College of Denver (1999), a Master of Science in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University (2003), a Master of Theological Studies from Pacific School of Religion (2004) and a Master of Clinical Social Work from San Diego State University (2012).
In service to the FTM community, Zander co-edited the 2012 Lambda Literary Award Finalist trans male anthology Letters for my Brothers: Transitional Wisdom in Retrospect (Wilgefortis, 2011). For more info: www.lettersformybrothers.com
In addition, Zander is a Director of TransMentors International, volunteer coordinator for Trans Youth Family Allies, and a member of the Transgender Advisory Group for the California Department of Mental Health Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans Reducing Disparities Project.
Zander resides in Northern California with his lovely wife, Margaret.
